Swiss-African Business Exchange

4th Swiss-African Business Exchange.
The annual gathering for business between Switzerland and Africa.
16-17 March 2011, Geneva

The Swiss-African Business Exchange is the indispensable annual national event in Switzerland for business with Africa. It brings together entrepreneurs, investors, opinion leaders, government officials and academia from Switzerland and Africa for a concrete exchange of project and business ideas.

The event is an ideal platform to discuss issues of relevance and showcase best practice for business between Switzerland and Africa, and to test the market for existing and new business products/issues. The event is built on three pillars: reliable and recognized partners, a high-ranking Advisory Board and renowned sponsors.

The basic objective – a genuine exchange between business from Switzerland and Africa – is reflected in the structure of the event: the first day is dedicated to very concrete business projects, the second day is reserved for one-on-one meetings between presenters and participants.

ONLINE REGISTRATION

Compared to 2010, major changes will be implemented in 2011, based on feedback received from participants and speakers: Firstly, a clear focus on the needs and requirements of small and medium-size companies wishing to access African markets (strong focus also on trade and not only investments). Secondly, the topics dealt with will be more specific (instead of very large themes such as energy or infrastructure, specific Swiss-African business-relevant aspects will be focussed on)
